Our Mission
To develop public awareness of the urgent need for preparedness in the event of local emergency or major disaster.
To assist peninsulas residents in obtaining all training and information, equipment and supplies to prepare themselves, their families and neighborhoods to deal with emergency situations and to be self sufficient for at least twenty one days. To provide, as needed, volunteers to support local, county and state emergency operations.

PEP-C, a non-profit 501c3 Corporation, works in concert with local agencies and community groups such as:
- Fire Districts 5 and 16
- Peninsula School District
- Pierce County and Washington State Emergency Management
- Peninsula Light Company
- CenturyLink
- Peninsula Amateur Radio Emergency Team (PARET) and other HAM radio operators
- KGHP
- and others to prepare for and respond to emergencies.
